Instant Veg Uttapam
Instant veg.Uttapam is made from semolina and curd / butter milk, so does not require fermentation. Loaded with veggies, is a healthy breakfast.
Ingredients : 2 cup semolina
: 1 cup curd
: 2 onion chopped
: 1 tomato cut(chopped)
: 1 Green bell pepper chopped
: 1 green chilly chopped
: green coriander chopped
: dry coconut 3 tea spoon
: roasted gram 15-20
: 2 table spoon curd for chutney
: 1 inch ginger and one green chilly for chutney
: 2 tea spoon oil & mustard seeds for chutney
: salt to taste
: pinch of asafoetida
: curry leaves
Recipe : Add curd and salt to taste to semolina and keep aside for 30 minutes.
Take coconut, green chilly, ginger, and gram and blend them well in a grinder, add 2 tsp curd and some water and make a fine paste.
Add salt to taste.
Heat oil in a tadka pan, add mustard seeds, asofoeta and curry leaves and mix it in chutney.
Chutney is ready.
Now add some water to batter and 1 tsp milk and make fine batter.
Heat frying pan, sprinkle some water and wipe it off with a neat cloth.
Pour the batter and put the Add chopped vegetables on it, spread the batter evenly and add some oil on it and around it.
Fry it on the other side and serve hot with chutney.
