50 gm paneer (cottage cheese) cubes
3 big onions
1 green chili
1/2 inch ginger
2 medium tomatoes
1 cup green peas
coriander leaves for garnish
1/2 tea spoon red chili powder
1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
2 tea spoon paneer masala
salt to taste
1 tsp cream
cumin seeds 1/2 tea spoon
2 tsp refined oil
Recipe : Boil onions, ginger and green chili for 5 minutes.
Let it cool and blend to a smooth paste.
Blend the tomatoes to make a fine puree.
Heat the oil in a non stick pan.
Add cumin seeds, when they crackle, add the onion paste and stir till the oil gets separated.
Add all the spices, stir, add tomato puree and green peas and cook till the oil gets separated.
Add the cream and mix well. add paneer cubes and cook for 5 minutes continuously stirring.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
