Dalia (broken wheat) Parantha
Dalia Paranthais a very nutritious and tasty recipe of paratha, made with leftover dalia. Very simple and quick recipe.
Ingredients for Dalia Parantha :
2 cup cooked dalia ( when you cook dalia, the left over can be used for paranthas)
wheat flour as per required
salt to taste
1 green chili chopped
1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
1 cup spring onions chopped
1/2 spoon ted chili powder
Refined oil/ghee for frying
1 tsp oil /ghee for mixing
Mix all the ingredients and knead a fine dough without water.
Add wheat flour till the dough is kneaded without using water. Make paranthas with the help of rolling pin.
Fry them with the help of oil/ghee on both the sides on a non stick frying pan till they turn golden brown.
Dalia parantha are ready.
These paranthas are very soft and good in taste and healthy as well.
Serve hot with chutney or sabzi.
