2 cup black chickpea sprouts
3-4 tomatoes red with pulp cut into pieces
1 onion cut into pieces
1/2 tea spoon black pepper powder
1/2 tea spoon rock salt
1 1/2 tea spoon sugar
1 bay leaf
1/2 tbsp refine oil
Recipe : Boil the sprouts for 4-5 minutes, drain the water and keep aside.Heat oil in a pan. Add bay leaf and onion and saute till the onion turns pink in color.Add tomatoes and saute, add 1 cup water and boil till the tomatoes are cooked well. Cool it and make a fine puree with a blender. Strain with a strainer and add black pepper powder, rock salt, salt to taste, sugar, sprouts and cook on a low flame for 7-8 minutes till the consistency of soup is acquired. Serve hot. Very healthy and tasty, children will also love it.
Note : You can also add fresh cream and bread crumbs if you wish.
