 Malai kofta
Malai kofta is a North Indian dish, made of soft potato and cottage kofta in rich and creamy curry. All time favorite. 

Ingredients kofta :
5 potatoes boiled and grated
1 tbsp cottage cheese mashed
1 tea spoon maida
10 cashew nuts
10 raisins
1/4 tea spoon black pepper powder
salt to taste
refined oil for deep fry 
Ingredients curry:
3 big onions
3 medium tomatoes
7-8 cashew nuts soaked for 3-4 hours
1 tea spoon poppy seeds soaked for 3-4 hours
1 green chili
4-5 cloves garlic
2 tbsp fresh cream
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tea spoon garam masala
1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
1/2 tea spoon red chili powder
1 cup milk
salt to taste
1/2 tea spoon cumin seeds 
coriander leaves for garnish
Recipe : Mix potatoes,cottage cheese, salt,black pepper powder and make a fine mixture. make cylindrical balls and keep aside.
Add maida to 1/2 cup water and make a liquid paste. 
Dip the koftas in the maida liquid and deep fry them till golden brown. 
Keep on tissue paper. 
Now boil onions, tomatoes, garlic and green chili for 5 minutes. Let it cool and blend them to a smooth paste. 
Blend the soaked cashew nuts and poppy seeds to a smooth paste. 
Heat butter in a non stick paste, add cumin seeds and onion tomato paste and cook till the butter gets separated continuously stirring. 
Add all the spices,salt ,saute, add cashew nut paste and cook till the butter gets separated. 
Add milk and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add cream and turn off the gas and mix properly. 
Put the koftas on a plate, add the gravy, garnish with cream and coriander leaves and serve hot.
