Namakpare is a famous Indian tea-time dry snack, made in all homes. Specially on Holi and Diwali. It is made from all purpose flour, crispy, flaky and mouth melting.
500 gm maida
100 gm ghee
1 tea spoon black pepper coarsely grated
1/2 tea spoon celery seeds
salt to taste
refined oil for deep fry
Recipe : Mix all the ingredients except refined oil and knead a tight dough with the help of water.
Cover it with a wet cloth and keep for 1/2 hour.
Now make small balls of the dough and make roti with rolling pin.
Cut rectangle pieces with a sharp knife.
Now heat oil in a pan. Deep fry them on low flame till golden brown.
Let them cool and keep in a air-tight container.
Serve with tea.
