This is an innovative recipe of snack. Made from cabbage leaves and chickpea flour batter steamed and fried.
6-7 cabbage leaves cleaned
4 tea spoon chickpea flour
1/2 tea spoon ginger, garlic, green chili paste
1/4 tea spoon red chili powder
1/4 turmeric powder
salt to taste
1/2 tea spoon mustard seeds
1/2 tea spoon sesame seeds
1 tbsp refined oil
Recipe : Remove the hard part of cabbage leaves with the help of a knife.
Now mix chickpea flour, all the spices, ginger,garlic paste,salt and water and make a thick batter.
Apply this batter evenly on all the cabbage leaves and roll them tightly and tie with a thread.
Steam this rolls in a steamer for 15 minutes.
Let them cool.
Cut small pieces of all rolls.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
Add mustard seeds and sesame seeds, when they crackle, add the rolls and fry for 5-6 minutes.
Tasty tea time snack is ready.
Note : Please use seasonal cabbage, because off season cabbage is bitter in taste.
