This paratha is loaded with goodness of protein, vitamins and carbohydrates present in moong sprouts. Good meal for persons not eating lentils. It prepared from wheat flour stuffed with moong sprouts. Tastes delicious.
1 cup Moth sprout ( boiled for 2 minutes )
1 medium onion chopped
1 green chili chopped
1/4 tea spoon red chili powder
1/4 tea spoon turmeric powder
pinch of dry mint leaves powder
1/4 tea spoon cumin seeds
1/2 tbsp refined oil
salt to taste
1 cup wheat flour
Ghee (cow) as per requirement
Recipe : Add salt to taste and 1 tea spoon ghee in wheat flour and knead it with the help of water (little hard ).
Now heat oil in a non stick pan, add cumin seeds, when they crackle, add onions, saute for 2-3 minutes, add green chili, saute, add all the spices, with salt, mix well.
Add sprouts and mix well, turn off the gas. Let it cool.
Now take a ball of flour, roll it with the help of rolling pin on a board, apply some ghee on rolled roti, now fill the sprout mixture, cover from all the sides and roll again with light hands.
Fry it from both the sides on a non stick pan using less cow ghee till it turns golden brown and crispy.
Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
A very healthy and tasty breakfast.
