We always have leftover rice in our home, sometimes we make fried rice out of it. We can also make tasty and crispy cutlets from leftover rice. Let us begin.
1 cup boiled rice
2 big bread white
1/2 cup milk
1 onion chopped
1 green chili chopped
1/4 tea spoon garam masala
1/4 tea spoon red chili powder
1/4 tea spoon turmeric powder
pinch of dry mango powder (optional)
salt to taste
refined oil for shallow fry ( as per requirement)
Recipe : Mash the rice well.
Add all the spices, green chili, salt, onions and mix well.
Now dip the bread slice in milk and squeeze the milk properly. Add this bread to the mixture and mix well.
Make small cutlets and shallow fry it in a non-stick pan till golden brown.
Keep the flame low.
Tasty rice cutlets are ready.
Serve hot with sauce or chutney.
Note : You can also add some chopped vegetables of your choice.
