Dry fruits are nutritious as well. I have innovated this healthy recipe specially for winters with all the benefits of Gooseberry,dates and dry fruits and it is sugar free.
200 gm gooseberry
400 gm dates
100 gm dry fruits ( almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts ) chopped
½ tea spoon cardamom powder
Recipe : Grate the gooseberry.
De seed the dates and grind them.
Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add gooseberry and cook stirring for 8-10 minutes, add dates, cardamom powder and cook till the dates and goose berry gets mixed well.
Add dry fruits and cook till the mixture becomes hard.
Turn off the gas and let it cool.
Now apply oil to your hands and make cylindrical rolls of it. Wrap the rolls in plastic sheets and keep in refrigerator for 2 hours.
Cut the rolls with a sharp knife and keep in an air-tight container.
Excellent dish for winters with no sugar.
