Green peas Pulao

Green peas pulao is a very  common,yummy and simple recipe of pulao, loaded with goodness of green peas, rich in calcium and vitamins. Pulao is all time favorite dish. Try this quick and yummy recipe of pulao. Let us start.

Ingredients:
1 cup Basmati rice
1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
2-3 cloves
2 bay leaves
1 cup peas
1 medium onion sliced
1 tbsp ghee or refined oil ( I prefer ghee, it gives a nice aroma) 
salt to taste
1 tea spoon cumin seeds

Recipe :
Wash rice and keep aside. 
Heat ghee in a pan. 
Add cumin seeds, when they crackle, add cloves and bay leaves, add onion and fry till they turn pink, add rice, roasted cumin powder and fry for 2 minutes.
Add peas and salt to taste, one and half cup water  and cover the pan and cook  on low flame till the water is absorbed. Delicious Green Peas pulao is ready.
Serve Hot.
