A very simple, easy and popular recipe of aloo kofta for tea snack and breakfast. I have added green peas and pomegranate seeds, which make it healthy and good looking. In South, this dish is called bonda and in Maharashtra, it is called batata vada.
Now mash the boiled potato, add green peas, pomegranate seeds, all the spices and salt to taste and mix well.
Make small balls of the mixture.
Add chopped green coriander leaves to the batter ( can also add some more water if it is thick ).
Heat oil in a pan. Dip the potato balls in the batter and deep fry them on medium flame till light brown in color.
Serve hot with ketchup.
