Tried this innovative recipe of dip and really came out so good. Tasty and healthy dip with nutritionally, green onions having a combination of the benefits of onions and greens with vitamin K, C and A.
5-6 spring onions
1 small tomato
3 big garlic cloves
1 green chilly
1/4 tea spoon red chilly
1/4 tea spoon turmeric powder
1/4 tea spoon roasted cumin powder
pinch of dry mint powder
1/4 tea spoon cumin seeds
salt to taste
1 tbsp refined oil
Recipe : Wash and cut the spring onions and green chilly into small pieces and chop them in a chopper along with garlic cloves.
Now cut the tomato and chop it separately in a chopper and keep aside.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds, when they crackle, add spring onions and saute till the mixture leaves oil. Add all the spices and salt to taste, saute, add chopped tomatoes and saute till the chutney leaves oil.
Serve with parantha or chapati.
