Cabbage peas vegetable
300 gm cabbage ( cut into thin slices)
1 cup green peas
1 small tomato ( cut into small pieces )
1 green chilly chopped
green coriander leaves (optional)
2 tbsp refined oil
1/2 tea spoon red chilly powder
1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
1/4 tea spoon coriander powder
1/4 tea spoon roasted cumin powder
1 tea spoon sugar
salt to taste
1/2 tea spoon mustard seeds
Everyday recipe of Cabbage and green peas in my style.
Recipe : Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
Add mustard seeds, when they crackle, add green chilly, then cabbage and peas.
Cook on medium flame stirring for about 7-8 minutes.
Add all the spices and salt, saute, add tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes are cooked.
Add sugar, mix well and turn off the gas.
If you like green coriander, garnish with it and serve with chapati or parantha.
