2 big ripe guava
1 tbsp refined oil
1/2 tea spoon red chilly powder
1/4 tea spoon turmeric powder
1/4 tea spoon garam masala
1/4 tea spoon coriander powder
1/4 tea spoon roasted cumin powder
salt to taste
1/4 tea spoon cumin seeds
1/2 tea spoon fennel seeds
2 tea spoon sugar
Recipe : Remove the seeds of guava and cut into small pieces. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds, when they crackle, add fennel seeds, add guava and saute.
Add all the spices and salt to taste, mix well, add 1/2 cup water and cook on medium flame for 4-5 minutes, add sugar, cook for 2 minutes and turn off the gas.
Serve hot with chapati, paratha or puri.
