Chinese fried rice is a very yummy recipe of rice. We all love rice, rice is my favorite food. I always try new flavors of rice. Today I am sharing the recipe of Chinese fried rice in my style. Loaded with lots of veggies, garlic, ginger, spring onions and black pepper, makes it a healthy and tasty treat. This really tastes so good that you don t require any raita or dip. So let us begin.
1 cup basmati rice
½ cup cabbage sliced
¼ cup carrot cut into small pieces
¼ cup capsicum cut into small pieces
¼ cup French beans, cut into small pieces
1 medium onion chopped
3-4 spring onions cut into small pieces
2-3 cloves garlic chopped
½ inch ginger chopped
¼ teaspoon black pepper powder
1 teaspoon schezwan fried rice masala
2 tbsp refined oil
½ teaspoon cumin seeds
Salt to taste
Wash the rice. Boil 2 cup water in a vessel, add 1/2 tea spoon salt, 1 tea spoon oil and rice and cook on medium flame till the rice is cooked 3/4.
Turn off the gas.
Strain the rice in a strainer and cover it with a lid.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds, when they crackle, add ginger and garlic, sauté.
Add the vegetables and cook on low flame stirring for 5 minutes, add schezwan masala, black pepper and salt to taste. Mix well add rice and cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
