Paneer ki sabji ( Jhatpat )
Paneer ki sabji is a very quick and easy and yummy recipe of cottage cheese. There are lot of recipes of cottage cheese and we Indians love cottage cheese. When you need to cook something tasty in short span of time, this recipe is perfect. The ingredients used are easily available in every home. So let,s begin.
50 gm cottage cheese
¼ cup green peas
1 capsicum cut into small pieces
1 medium onion chopped
2 medium tomato puree
¼ tea spoon corn flour
½ tea spoon sugar
½ tea spoon red chilly powder
½ tea spoon turmeric powder
½ tea spoon roasted cumin powder
¼ tea spoon garam masala
Salt to taste
2 tbsp refined oil
2 tea spoon tomato ketchup
½ tea spoon cumin seeds
Cut cottage cheese into cubes and keep aside.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds, when they crackle, add onions and sugar and cook for 2-3 minutes, add capsicum and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add corn flour, all the spices, salt and green peas and sauté. Add tomato puree and cook till the mixture leaves oil.
Add tomato ketchup, sauté, add half cup warm water and cook for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
Add cottage cheese cubes and cook for 2 minutes.
Yummy Paneer ki sabji is ready in short span of time.
Serve hot with chapati, parantha or naan.
