Green Peas vegetable
Green Peas vegetable is my innovative recipe. We get bored of eating those routine vegetables, so tried this green peas vegetable in gravy. I hope you all will like it. I have used peas in gravy also, to give it a creamy texture. Green peas are good source of iron, zinc, protein and vitamin K, B1, B2. And I have used whole red chilly instead of red chilly powder.
Take half boiled green peas and grind them to a smooth paste.
Now heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds, when they crackle, add asafoetida and ginger garlic paste and sauté for 3-4 minutes, add onions and sauté till they become pink in color.
Add all the spices, sauté, add tomato puree and cook till the mixture leaves oil.
Mix green peas paste and salt to taste and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
Add green peas and cook for 2-3 minutes and turn off the gas. Garnish with green coriander leaves and serve hot.
