Chinese Manchurian consist of soy sauce, vinegar, which I find very unhealthy, so tried this Indian style Manchurian. I hope you will like it. Let us start. If you have any questions or comments, please put them in the comment box on my Blog.
Mash it and sieve it with the help of a strainer.
Add red chilly powder, garam masala and salt to taste.
Mix corn flour in 2 tbsp water and mix well.
Mix gram flour, all the vegetables, green coriander, salt to taste and spices for Manchurian in a bowl, add water and make a thick batter ( like Pakora ).
Keep it for ½ hour. Heat oil in a pan.
Make pakora of the batter and deep fry them on low flame till golden brown.
Keep them on a tissue, so that extra oil is absorbed.
Add tamarind mixture and stir for 2-3 minutes, stir the corn flour mixture and add slowly stirring to avoid lumps.
Add 1 cup water and cook till it becomes thick, add the pakora and cook for 2 minutes.
Serve hot with fried rice.
