Vaghareli roti


 Vaghareli roti is a leftover roti yummy recipe. All the women in kitchen face the problem of leftover roti. Today, I am sharing a recipe of leftover roti, which is simple, quick and very tasty. Can be prepared with ingredients available in home like onions, green chili and butter milk.

Ingredients :

4 leftover chapatti
1 big glass butter milk
1 medium onion
1 green chili
coriander leaves
1 teaspoon red chili powder
Bread slice
Salt to taste
½ teaspoon mustard seeds
Pinch of Asafoetida
2 tbsp  refined oil

Recipe :

Chop the onion and green chilli finely. 
Break the Roti into small pieces. 
Add all the spices along with salt in a bowl and mix well with 1 tbsp water to make a paste. 
Heat oil in a non-stick pan. 
Add mustard seeds, when they crackle, add Asafoetida, onions and green chilli and sauté till onions turn translucent. 
Pour the Masala paste and cook stirring till the mixture leaves oil. 
Add the Roti pieces and mix well. 
Mix butter milk slowly stirring continuously and cook on medium flame till the gravy becomes thick and creamy. 
Turn off the gas. 
Garnish with green coriander leaves and serve hot. 
It is so yummy and healthy. 
Can be served as breakfast or evening snack.
