Boondi raita

Boondi raita is a quick and easy yogurt dip recipe, made from boondi, yogurt, onions, green chili and spices. a yummy raita that accompanies, Pulao, Biryani, fried rice, Roti Paratha. an important side dish of Indian Platter. So let us start

Ingredients :

2 cup fresh curd
1/2 cup raita boondi
1 medium onion chopped
1 green chli chopped
4-5 curry leaves
1/2 tbsp refined oil
1/2 tea spoon cumin seeds 
1/2 tea spoon red chili powder
1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
salt to taste
1/2 tea spoon roasted cumin powder
pinch of dry mint leaves powder

Recipe : Add 1/2 cup water to the curd and whip it.
Heat oil in a Pan. Add cumin seeds.
When they crackle, add curry leaves, onions and green chili.
Saute till the onions turn transculent.
Add raita boondi and saute for 2 minutes.


Add all the spices except salt and mix well.

Turn off the Gas. Transfer the mixture to a bowl.
Add the whipped curd and mix well.
Sprinkle dry mint powder.
Tasty  Boondi raita is ready to serve.

Add salt at the time of serving, otherwise it will turn sour.
