Sharing healthy Snack recipe innovated by me. We Indians love snacks. If we try some healthy recipes of snacks, it will promote good health of your family along with taste. I always do experiments with food. Sometimes I fail, but most of the times, my experiment comes out so good. I tried this healthy snack recipe of cutlet made from spinach, sweet corn, spring onions and cheese. I hope you all will like it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me in the comments box. 150 gm spinach ( palak )
1 cup sweet corn
1 large onion
1 cup roasted chickpea ( bhune chane )
3/4 tea spoon red chili powder
1/4 tea spoon turmeric powder
1 tea spoon roasted cumin coriander powder
1/4 tea spoon garam masala
1/4 tea spoon dry mango powder ( optional)
Mozzarella cheese grated 1/2 cup or as per taste
salt to taste
refined oil for shallow fry ( as per requirement )
Chop the spinach, onion and sweet corn in a chopper separately.
Remove the skin of roasted chickpea and grind it to a fine powder.
Now mix all the ingredients in a bowl, add all the spices and salt to taste, chickpea powder.
If you find there is still moisture in the mixture, you can add some corn flour, it will absorb the moisture.
Now take some mixture, flatten it, add some grated Mozzarella cheese and cover it with another flatten mixture and give the shape of a tikki.
Heat a non-stick pan, add some refined oil to it.
Shallow fry the prepared tikki from both the sides on low flame till golden and crispy.
Tasty and healthy snack is ready.
If you use a microwave or air fryer, it will be a totally healthy treat.
