   Beetroot Hawla


Beetroot is very low in Saturated Fat and Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Vitamin C, Iron and Magnesium, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Folate, Potassium and Manganese.It is little bitter in taste, so people avoid eating it. Try this yummy recipe of Beetroot, enjoy the authentic taste and nutrition of Beetroot.
Ingredients :
5 beetroot
400 ml milk with cream
1 tbsp ghee
½ tea spoon cardamom powder
1 tbsp dry fruits of your choice
¾ cup sugar
1 tea spoon pistachio for Garnish
Recipe : Peel and thinly grate the beetroot. 
Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add grated beetroot and cook for 10 minutes, stirring. 
Now add milk and cardamom powder and cook stirring occasionally on medium flame till the mixture becomes thick, add sugar and dry fruits and cook till the halwa leaves ghee. 
Garnish with pistachio and serve hot. 
Excellent sweet dish for winters.
