Amla mithi chutney


Amla is rich source of antioxidants, vitamin C and builds strong immunity.Very good for eye sight, skin and hair. This recipe is simple, tangy and I have used natural sweetener jaggery to make it healthy. This chutney goes well with puri, parantha and chapatis. 

Ingredients :
250 gm amla
100 gm jaggery (grated )
1 tbsp refined oil
1 tea spoon fennel seeds
½ tea spoon red chili powder
½ tea spoon turmeric powder
½ tea spoon salt
amla mithi chutney

Recipe : Boil the Amla for 1 whistle. 
Let it cool and de-seed them and mash them. 
Heat oil in a pan, add fennel seeds, mashed Amla, spices and salt and sauté for two minutes. 
Add jaggery and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame stirring. Tasty sweet chutney is ready. 
Amla is good for digestion, immunity, skin and hair. 
So try to eat it fresh in the season.
