Green peas Pulao
Very yummy and simple recipe of pulao, loaded with goodness of green peas, rich in calcium and vitamins.

1 cup basmati rice
1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
2-3 cloves
2 bay leaves
1 cup peas
1 medium onion sliced
1 tbsp ghee or refined oil ( I prefer ghee, it gives a nice aroma) 
salt to taste
1 tea spoon cumin seeds

Recipe :
Wash rice and keep aside. 
Heat ghee in a pan. 
Add cumin seeds, when they crackle, add cloves and bay leaves, add onion and fry till they turn pink, add rice, roasted cumin powder and fry for 2 minutes.
Add peas and salt to taste, one and half cup water  and cover the pan and cook  on low flame till the water is absorbed. 
Serve Hot.
