We have always tried dhokla of chickpea flour, which is unhealthy. So I tried this innovative recipe of lobia and fenugreek leaves dhokla, which is healthy and tastes awesome. Recipe is simple. Please give it a try, you will love it for sure.
Ingredients :
1 cup lobia (black eyed pea )
½ cup semolina
1,1/2 cup fenugreek leaves chopped
2 green chilly
½ inch ginger
2 tbsp curd
1 tbsp refined oil
Salt to taste
¾ sachet eno
½ tea spoon mustard seeds
½ tea spoon sesame seeds
Pinch of asafoetida
Coriander leaves chopped



Recipe : Soak lobia in water for 4-5 hours. 
Grind it to a coarse paste. 
Take one green chilly and ginger and make a paste. 
Now mix lobia paste, semolina, chilly ginger paste, salt to taste and curd and keep for half an hour. 
After half an hour, add fenugreek leaves and mix well. Add ¾ sachet into to the mixture, pour 1 tea spoon water on eno and mix well.
Pour the batter to a pre-greased plate and steam in a steamer for 10 minutes. 
Insert a knife to check, if knife comes out clean, dhokla is ready. 
Cut square pieces.   
Cut other green chilly into small pieces. 
Heat oil in tadka pan, add mustard seeds, when they crackle, turn off the gas, add asafoetida, green chilly and spread the tadka on dhokla. 
Garnish with green coriander leaves. 
Serve with green or coconut chutney. 
A very healthy and yummy breakfast is ready.
