   Tamarind  chutney Jaggery
Indians love street food. And chaats are favorite in street foods. Any chaat recipe is incomplete without tangy sweet tamarind chutney. This is very simple recipe. You can refrigerate it for 10-12 days and use it in various dishes.


Ingredients :
½ cup tamarind
1 cup grated jaggery
½ tea spoon roasted cumin powder
¼ tea spoon black pepper powder
¼ tea spoon red chilly powder
Salt to taste
Recipe : Soak tamarind and jaggery in 2 cup water overnight. Add salt to taste, red chilly powder, black pepper powder and boil it for 6-7 minutes. 
Let it cool. 
Strain and remove the seeds and pulp. 
Add roasted cumin powder and mix well. 
Tangy sweet chutney is ready for Dahi vada, chaat, bhel and ragda pattis.
