 Manchurian is my son s favorite, so I tried it for the first time and it really came out good. You need to take care of few tips, while preparing it. The dough of vegetables for Manchurian, should not be too sticky, you need to use less flour and corn flour, only that much that we can prepare balls out of it.  Deep fry them on low flame, and don t forget to put on tissue paper, so that extra oil can be absorbed by tissue.
      One more thing, soy sauce is not good for health, so I have skipped it. You can also skip it if you want to go for healthy one. So take care of these tips and do try it.

Ingredients for Manchurian :
1/2 cup cabbage grated
1/4 cup capsicum finely chopped
1/4 cup carrot grated
1/4 cup spring onions finely chopped
1 tbsp all purpose flour ( maida )
1 tbsp corn flour
1/2 tea spoon black pepper coarsely grind
salt to taste
refined oil for deep fry ( as per requirement )
  Ingredients for gravy
3-4 garlic cloves finely chopped
1 inch ginger finely chopped
1 green chilly finely chopped
1/2 cup spring onions finely chopped
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
3 tea spoon chilly sauce
1 tea spoon soy sauce
1 tea spoon white vinegar
1/2 tea spoon sugar
2 tbsp refined oil
1 tbsp corn flour
salt to taste

Recipe : Mix all the chopped vegetable for Manchurian, 1 tbsp all purpose flour, 1tbsp corn flour, salt to taste and black pepper and knead them to a dough. 
If you feel the dough needs more flour, you can add some more all purpose flour. 
Make small balls. 
Heat oil in a pan.
Deep fry them on a low flame till golden brown in color and keep them on tissue paper, so that extra oil is absorbed.
Now take a bowl and add all the sauce and ketchup and mix well. 
Take another bowl, add 1 tbsp corn flour and 2 tbsp water and mix well. 
Now heat 2 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan, add spring onions saute, add garlic, ginger and green chilly and saute till the onions turn translucent. 
Now add the mixture of sauce and ketchup and sugar, and cook for 2 minutes, now stir the corn flour mixture and add it slowly, stirring to avoid lumps. 
Add 1 cup water and cook on medium flame till it becomes thick.
Keep the consistency of gravy according to your choice, if you don t like thick, you can add some more water.
Add Manchurian and vinegar, mix well, cook for 3-4 minutes and turn off the gas. 
Garnish with spring onions and serve hot.
