Whenever, you need to prepare a long lasting sweet dish, this dish is perfect because it can be prepared with less ingredients and all the ingredients are easily available in every home. So let us start.

Servings : 6 Ladoo 

Recipe Ingredients:

1 cup chickpea flour
1/2 cup cow ghee
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
1 teaspoon pistachio
powdered sugar as per taste

Recipe instructions:  

Add ghee to a non-stick pan and heat it.
Add chickpea flour to the ghee and toast it on low flame for about 15 minutes.
The raw smell of chickpea flour will disappear and it will turn light brown in color.
Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
Add powdered sugar as per taste and mix well.
Make small Ladoo with the help of your palms.
Tasty and healthy Ladoos are ready.
Garnish with cardamom powder and pistachio.
You can store them in an air tight container and use them for a week.
You can serve them to your kids with evening snacks.

Rajasthani Mirchi Bada is a very popular snack of Rajasthan. It is prepared mostly in rainy and winter season. It is made by filling potato stuffing in big green chili, dipping in chickpea flour batter and then deep frying. These Large green chilies are available in Rajasthan only. That is why it is prepared in Rajasthan mostly.
Nowadays, Super Markets are there, Maybe these Large chilies are available there in all the states. But I must say it is very delicious and spicy in taste So let us start.

Preparation & cooking time : 30 minutes 

Servings : 4 Mirchi Bada 

Recipe Ingredients for stuffing :

4 big green chili
4 medium potatoes
1 medium onion
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon dry mango powder
1/4 teaspoon dry mint powder
 salt to taste
green coriander leaves chopped (optional )

Recipe Ingredients for batter :

1 cup chickpea flour
1/2 cup water
salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
pinch of turmeric powder
refined oil for deep frying ( as per requirement )

Recipe instructions:  
Boil the potatoes for 1 whistle and let them cool.
Wash the green chili, pat dry and slit them from one side.
If you don t want it more spicy, you can remove the seeds also.
Mix all the ingredients of batter in a bowl and whisk for 2-3 minutes and keep it for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, grate the potatoes, you can also mash them, but lumps should not be there.
Add all the spices, finely chopped onion and green coriander and mix well.
Fill the potato stuffing in the chilies properly.
Heat refined oil in a pan.
Whisk the batter once again for 2-3 minutes.
Take care, we need a thick batter for this dish.
So don t add more water to the batter.
Now dip the stuffed green chili in the batter and deep fry on medium-low flame till it become light golden in color from both the sides.
Tasty, spicy Mirchi Bada is ready.
Serve with green chutney or tomato ketchup.

There are lots of method to make Pan Cakes. Pan cakes are mostly made using eggs and baking powder, but I have not used both the ingredients and made Pan cakes in Indian style. So delicious and mouth melting. You will just love them.
Normally Pan cakes are thick, but as I am not using eggs and baking soda, I have made them a little thinner. But they taste very yummy. So let us start.

Preparation & cooking time :1 hour 15 minutes 

Servings : 4-5 

Recipe Ingredients :

1 cup wheat flour
3 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla custard powder
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder 
1/4 cup powdered sugar
Hershey's Chocolate Caramel syrup ( as per requirement )
Hershey's Strawberry syrup ( as per requirement )
1/2 cup walnuts chopped
Cow ghee or refined oil (as per requirement)

Recipe Instructions:  

Take wheat flour, cardamom powder, custard powder, milk and sugar in a bowl and mix well with the help of a blender.
Keep it for an hour. The batter will become fluffy.
You can add some more milk for required batter consistency.
Whisk it for 5 minutes in one direction.
Now heat a non-stick pan.
Spread a ladle of batter over it evenly.
Add very little oil or ghee on the edges.
Turn and fry from the other side also.
Prepare all the Pan cakes in the same way.
Now spread some Chocolate caramel syrup, then some Strawberry syrup.
Spread some chopped walnuts.
Delicious Pan cakes are ready.
You can serve them in two ways.
Either fold it twice and serve.
Or place all the Pan cakes in a Horizontal row and cut like a cake and serve.

We mostly make Batata Wada or kofta from chickpea flour and potato. It is also called Bonda in south.  Today, sharing Rava Bonda recipe with cheese.Tried for the first time and came out so good. Very delicious snack. So let us start.

Recipe Ingredients :

1 cup semolina
2 tbsp curd
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 green chili, finely chopped
3 boiled potatoes
3 small cubes of mozzarella cheese
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon dry mint powder
1/4 teaspoon dry mango powder ( optional)
salt to taste 
green coriander leaves, chopped
refined oil for deep frying ( as per requirement )

Recipe Instructions: 

Mix 1 cup semolina, 2 tbsp curd, chopped green chili, onion and salt taste in a bowl.
Make a fine batter using some water.
Consistency should be like Kofta batter. 
Keep it for half an hour.
Mash or grate the boiled potatoes and add all the spices, coriander leaves and salt to taste and mix well.
Take some potato mixture, flatten with hands, keep small cheese cube and cover it from all sides properly and make a round ball.
Repeat the process till all balls are prepared.
Heat oil on medium flame in a pan.
Now dip them in the batter and deep fry in oil on low flame till becomes crispy.
Tasty and crispy from outside and cheesy from inside Rava Bonda is ready.
Place them on tissue paper so extra oil is absorbed.
Serve with tomato ketchup.

Whenever we eat a heavy lunch during Festivals, in the evening, best meal is Khichdi, which is light on the stomach and easy to digest. It is yummy in taste also. Some people like simple Khichdi, while some like Masala vegetable Khichdi. The most important ingredient in Khichdi is ghee. All the taste of Khichdi comes from ghee. Use cow ghee which is good for health. Khichdi is made from Moong Dal and Parmal rice, Gujarati people make Khichdi with pigeon Dal. Today, sharing Masala Khichdi in my style and also recipe of plain Khichdi for beginners.

Recipe Ingredients :

1/2 cup yellow Moong dal
1/2 cup Parmal rice
1/2 cup onions, sliced
1/2 cup capsicum, sliced
1 cup cabbage sliced
1 teaspoon garlic, ginger, green chili paste
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala
Salt to taste
1 bay leaf
6-7 curry leaves
2 dry red chili
pinch of Asafoetida
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/4 teaspoon sesame seeds
1 tbsp refined oil
1 tbsp cow ghee

Recipe instructions

Take 1/2 cup moong Dal and 1/2 cup Parmal rice in a cooker and wash them. 
Add 3 cups water, salt to taste and 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder.
Pressure cook it for 2-3 whistles.
Heat 1 tbsp refined oil in a non-stick pan.
Add ginger, garlic, green chili paste, saute for 2 minutes.
Add onions and saute for 2 minutes.
Add capsicum and cabbage and saute for 2-3 minutes.
Add red chili powder, Garam Masala and little salt to taste.
Mix well. Add the cooked Khichdi and mix well.
Turn off the gas.
Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a Tadka pan.
Add cumin seeds, when they crackle, turn off the gas.
Add sesame seeds, Asafoetida, dry red chili and curry leaves and pour the Tadka on prepared Khichdi.
Tasty and healthy Masala vegetable Khichdi is ready.
Serve hot with curd or it tastes great without anything.
Masala Khichdi recipe - Vegetable Masala Khichdi
For plain Khichdi, just take Green Moong Dal and Parmal rice in equal quantity in a pressure cooker. 
Wash them and add 3 cups water, salt to taste and 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder.
Cook for 3 whistles. 
Add some more water and cook if you like little semi-liquid consistency.
Add  2 teaspoons cow ghee and serve hot.

Today, sharing the famous Lauki Kofta recipe in my style. I have used fresh coconut and peanuts to give the gravy a creamy texture and a different taste from routine cooking. I hope you will like it.

Recipe Ingredients for Kofta :
1 cup chickpea flour
1/2 cup grated bottle gourd
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt to taste
refined oil for deep frying ( as per requirement ) 
Recipe Ingredients for gravy :
1/4 fresh coconut
8-10 peanuts
4-5 red, dry chili
1 medium onion
2-3 garlic cloves
1 big tomato
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 
1/2 teaspoon Maggie Masala
2 tbsp refined oil
pinch of Asafoetida
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
Lauki Kofta Curry Recipe- How to make Lauki Kofta curry


Recipe instructions : Mix 1 cup chickpea flour, chili powder, turmeric powder, salt to taste and grated bottle gourd in a bowl and make a pakora batter using some water.
Keep it for 15-20 minutes.
Take fresh coconut, garlic cloves, dry red chili and peanuts in a grinder and grind it to a smooth paste.
Make puree of tomato in a blender.
Chop the onions finely.
Heat refined oil in a pan and make medium size Kofta on a low flame.
Keep them on a tissue paper so extra oil is absorbed.
Now heat 2 tbsp refined oil in a pan.
Add cumin seeds, when they crackle, add Asafoetida and onions and saute till they turn translucent.

Add the coconut paste and cook stirring till it leaves the edges of the pan.
Add all the spices, mix well and add tomato puree.
Cook till the mixture leaves oil.
Add 2 cup warm water and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
I have kept the gravy thick, you can adjust according to taste.
Add the Kofta and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Delicious Lauki Kofta are ready to serve.
Garnish with grated coconut and serve hot.

Today, I am sharing the famous Gujarati dish dhokla, made from rava and lauki. totally healthy and yummy snack. I always try to innovate new dishes. Normally we make dhokla from besan or rava, I added lauki to it to make it healthy with some spices to make it tasty also. Garnished with a sesame seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves tadka, gives it a mouth watering look. Tastes great with coconut chutney. So let us start.



Rava Dhokla Recipe
Recipe cuisine : Gujarati
Recipe category : Snacks
Preparation time : 45 minutes
Recipe Ingredients :
1 cup rava ( suji) ( semolina )
1/2 cup thinly grated bottle gourd ( lauki ) 
2 tbsp curd
salt to taste
1 tea spoon red chili powder
1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
1 sachet eno
1 tbsp refined oil
1/2 tea spoon mustard seeds
1/2 tea spoon sesame seeds
5-6 curry leaves
pinch of asafoetida
Recipe Instructions : Add 1 cup semolina, grated lauki, 2 tbsp curd, salt to taste, red chili powder and turmeric powder and mix well using some water to make a thick batter.
Leave it for 1/2 hour.
Grease the dhokla plate.
Add 1 sachet eno to the batter, pour 1 tbsp water on eno and mix well in one direction.
Pour the batter in dhokla plate and steam it in a steamer for 10 minutes.
Let it cool completely. Cut into square pieces with a knife.
Heat 1 tbsp refined oil in a tadka pan, add mustard seeds.
When they crackle, remove from heat, add sesame seeds, asafoetida and curry leave and pour the tadka on the prepared dhokla evenly.
Tasty and healthy rava dhokla is ready.
Serve with coconut chutney.
Coconut chutney : Add 1/4 fresh coconut cut into pieces. 1 green chili, 1 cup green coriander leaves, 4-5 curry leaves, salt to taste, 1 tea spoon sugar, 1 tea spoon roasted gram, 1/2 inch ginger and 1 tea spoon curd, little water to a blender and blend to a smooth paste.
Coconut chutney is ready.

Remove the old nail paint completely before applying the new one

Give you nails a proper shape with the help of a filer. Remove the dead skin around your nails with the help of cuticle remover, easily available in the market.

 Almost all age group are fond of kadhi chawal. Kadhi is a very popular Indian dish, which is prepared in different ways in different regions. In Gujarat, people prefer a kadhi without red chili and little sweet taste. Punjabi and Rajasthani people prepare kadhi with spicy red chili and also pakora kadhi. Sindhi people prepare kadhi with tamarind, instead of buttermilk. Buttermilk and tamarind both are sour in taste and many people are allergic to sour things. I am also one of them, but I love kadhi, so tried this kadhi made from salad tomatoes, which are not sour in taste. It came out so yummy, just try it and you will experience the aromatic taste. So let us start.

Tomato vegetable kadhi


Recipe Ingredients :
3 big red salad tomatoes
2 heaped tea spoon chickpea flour
1/4 cup bottle gourd finely chopped
1/4 cup onions finely chopped
1/4 cup capsicum finely chopped
1/4 cup potatoes finely chopped
1 tbsp refined oil
1 tbsp cow ghee
salt to taste
1 tea spoon red chili powder
1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
3 garlic cloves
1/2 inch ginger
1 green chili
5-6 curry leaves
1/4 tea spoon cumin seeds
1/4 tea spoon mustard seeds
pinch of asafoetida
2 dry red chili 
Tomato vegetable kadhi

Recipe Instructions : Boil the tomatoes in water for 2-3 minutes, let them cool.
Make a paste of garlic,ginger and green chili in a grinder.
Remove the skin of tomatoes and blend them to a smooth paste along with 2 tea spoon chickpea flour ( besan ).
Heat 1 tbsp refined oil in a pan, add onions, saute for 2 minutes.
Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 more minutes.
Add capsicum, saute for 2 minutes.
Add all the spices, along with salt to taste, mix well.
Add potatoes and bottle gourd and mix well.
Add tomato puree mix well.
Add 3 cups water and cook on medium flame continuously stirring.
When it comes to boil, low down the flame and cook for 20-25 minutes stirring occasionally.
Now heat 1 tbsp cow ghee in a tadka pan.
Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds, turn off the flame.
Remove from gas, wait for few seconds, then add dry red chili , asaofetida and curry leaves and pour the tadka on kadhi. 
Awesome Tomato vegetable kadhi is ready.
Serve with rice, pulao, roti or paratha.
Note : You can add any vegetables of your choice. In winters, peas, french beans, carrot are available, you can add them to add full nutrition to the dish.
