Rava Bonda Recipe
We mostly make Batata Wada or kofta from chickpea flour and potato. It is also called Bonda in south. Today, sharing Rava Bonda recipe with cheese.Tried for the first time and came out so good. Very delicious snack. So let us start.Recipe cuisine : South Indian

Recipe Ingredients :
1 cup semolina2 tbsp curd
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 green chili, finely chopped
3 boiled potatoes
3 small cubes of mozzarella cheese
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon dry mint powder
1/4 teaspoon dry mango powder ( optional)
salt to taste
green coriander leaves, chopped
refined oil for deep frying ( as per requirement )
Recipe Instructions:
Mix 1 cup semolina, 2 tbsp curd, chopped green chili, onion and salt taste in a bowl.Make a fine batter using some water.
Consistency should be like Kofta batter.
Keep it for half an hour.
Mash or grate the boiled potatoes and add all the spices, coriander leaves and salt to taste and mix well.
Take some potato mixture, flatten with hands, keep small cheese cube and cover it from all sides properly and make a round ball.
Repeat the process till all balls are prepared.
Heat oil on medium flame in a pan.
Now dip them in the batter and deep fry in oil on low flame till becomes crispy.
Tasty and crispy from outside and cheesy from inside Rava Bonda is ready.
Place them on tissue paper so extra oil is absorbed.
Serve with tomato ketchup.
