Leftover chapati recipes
Leftover
chapati is a very common issue in the Indian Kitchen. If we try some
innovation, yummy dishes can be prepared from leftover chapati.
I have tried
some interesting recipes from leftover
chapati, sharing with you. I hope you will like them and enjoy them. So, let us
start.
Recipe 1 Roti Pizza
Ingredients:
2-3 leftover
chapati
½ cup onions
finely chopped
½ cup
capsicum finely chopped
Tomato
ketchup
1 cup grated Mozzarella cheese
½ tea spoon
oregano
½ tea spoon
chili flakes
¼ tea spoon
black pepper coarsely grind
Salt to taste
Recipe
instructions:
Toast the
chapati on a skillet on low flame low flame, pressing it with a cloth or back
side of a flat bowl from both the sides till it becomes crispy.
Let it cool.
Mix onions, capsicum, spices and salt ot taste in a bowl.
Apply tomato
ketchup evenly on the toasted chapati, you can also use Pizza sauce if you
wish.
Spread the
onion mixture evenly. Add grated Mozzarella cheese on the top.
Now heat a
non-stick pan, keep the flame low, place the Pizza over it and cover a lid for
3-4 minutes till the cheese melts.
Remove from
pan and serve immediately.
Yummy Roti
Pizza is ready and kids will demand it everyday.

Recipe 2
Laddu
Ingredients:
4-5 leftover
chapati
1 tbsp cow
ghee
¼ tea spoon
cardamom powder
Dry fruits of
your choice
Powdered sugar
to taste
Recipe instructions:
Break the
chapati into small pieces and then grind them to a coarse powder in a mixer.
Heat a
non-stick pan and toast it on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
Transfer it
to a bowl, add warm ghee, cardamom powder , dry fruits and sugar to taste and mix
well.
Make laddu
with the help of your hands.
Sweet dish
after dinner is ready. Every one will love these laddu.
Just take
care you use unsalted chapati for laddu.

unsalted chapati everyday, to control the Blood pressure of your family.
