                           Healthy wraps for lunch

Healthy wraps for lunch is a lunch box recipe for all. Wraps can be made from crispy Tortilla  strips or from wheat chapati.Wraps are healthy , tasty and easy to make. You can make Wraps according to your choice of vegetables, tomato ketchup, cottage cheese and much more. anything can be rolled up into a delicious lunch. Remember our favorite potato vegetable roll of childhood ? I have also tried to make a healthy and delicious wrap with my imagination. You can also add or skip ingredients according to your choice. I have made this wrap from ingredients available at home. So, let us start.

Recipe ingredients:

half cup wheat flour
1 tea spoon refined oil
half teaspoon cow ghee ( optional )
half capsicum
1 small tomato
1 medium white onion
1 cup Cabbage sliced
half green chili
some cilantro
1/4 teaspoon black pepper coarsely grind
1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
salt to taste
2 potatoes
1 tbsp cottage cheese ( optional )
2 teaspoon corn flour
2 tbsp refined oil for frying
2 tbsp hung curd

Recipe Instructions:

Boil the potatoes for 1 whistle. Let them cool.
Cut the Capsicum, onion, cabbage and tomato into thin slices.
Add chili flakes, cilantro and salt to taste to hung curd and mix well.
Sieve 1/2 cup wheat flour, add pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon refined oil and knead a soft dough with the help of water and keep it aside.
Peel the potatoes, mash them, add crushed cottage cheese, chopped green chili, salt to taste, black pepper and corn flour and mix well.
Make two long tikki as shown in the picture and flatten them with the help of palms so it is easy to fry them.
Heat 2 tbsp refined oil in a non-stick pan.
Fry the tikki on low flame from both the sides till golden brown.
You can go for air fryer for healthy option.
Now heat the skillet. Make two balls of the dough, apply ghee on one and place the other ball on the first one and roll a double layer chapati as shown in the picture.
Cook it from both the sides and separate them carefully while they are hot.
If you wish you can make simple chapati also.
Apply some cow ghee on the inner side.
Now spread the hung curd mixture evenly on the chapati.
Place one tikki, add the sliced vegetables and cover it with the help of a tooth pick.
Make the other one in the same way.
Healthy wraps for lunch are ready.
You can pack them for lunch box for anybody for school, office or even for traveling
