Paratha Pizza is a fusion food recipe. In Pizza, all purpose flour and baking powder is used which is not healthy if eaten often. Kids love Pizza and demand it very often. The solution to this problem is this healthy and yummy Paratha Pizza.
Wheat flour is used instead of all purpose flour to make it healthy, the rest of the ingredients are almost the same. I have used some boiled potatoes for making a base layer, because if we apply Pizza sauce directly to Paratha, it will become messy.
Paratha Pizza recipe is easy to make, so you can make it whenever your kids demand it and it is a complete meal, so if your kids don't eat their meals properly, you can go for this option.
You can make this recipe with two methods, one by folding the roti half and giving it a D shape or by rolling two separate chapati and filling the stuff inside.
You can choose any method you find convenient. So, let us start.

Recipe Ingredients for base:

1 cup wheat flour
1 teaspoon refined oil
Pinch of salt
Water as required


Recipe Ingredients for stuffing and topping:
2 cup grated Mozzarella cheese
1 big potato
¼ teaspoon black pepper powder ( coarsely grind)
½ cup Pizza sauce
½ teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon chili flakes
Salt to taste
1 big capsicum
1 big tomato
1 big onion
Refined oil or cow ghee for shallow fry as required


Recipe instructions:
Sieve wheat flour in a bowl, add a pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon of refined oil and knead a dough with the help of some water. The dough should be neither soft or hard, it should be medium so that we can easily roll it by applying some oil without dusting flour on the rolling board.

Keep it aside and cover with damp cloth.
Boil the potatoes for 1 whistle, peel the skin, mash it and add a pinch of salt and ½ teaspoon black pepper powder and mix well.

Now we need to chop the vegetables. We will require half the vegetables finely chopped and half sliced. Add pinch of salt to them.
Now if make two balls of the dough roll one dough by applying some oil on it.

Spread a thin layer of mashed potatoes in half portion as shown in the picture.

Apply Pizza sauce over it.

Spread chopped vegetables over it and some Mozzarella cheese.

Cover it with the other half portion.

Heat a non stick pan. 
Place the pizza on it, flip when cooked from one side, brush with some refined oil or cow ghee and flip again.

After frying it from both sides on medium flame, low down the flame, place the sliced vegetables over it carefully and spread Mozzarella cheese over it.

Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes, till the cheese melts.
Yummy Paratha Pizza is ready to serve. Serve with tomato ketchup.

Tips for Paratha Pizza
  • Knead the dough medium, not soft and not very hard.
  • Cook on medium flame first and on low flame after adding toppings, so that crispy bottom will be formed and Pizza will not burn.
