Indian chatni recipes are integral component of Indian cuisine. Fresh chatni work as an appetizer for your stomach and boosts your immune system.
Chatni are prepared with coconut, peanuts, cilantro,lemon juice, tomato, onion, garlic, green chili, dry red chili, mint leaves, tamarind, curd as main ingredients.
Cumin seeds, Asafoetida, white lentil, chickpea lentil, curry leaves, mustard seeds are used as supporting ingredients.
There are so many chatni  recipes available on internet. I tried some new innovative ideas of chatni and they came out very good. I have shared some innovative recipes of chatni earlier also, which were liked by many people. Sharing today, my three new innovative chatni recipes. I hope you will like these new chatni also. So, let us start.

Pumpkin Tomato chatni

Recipe ingredients:


1 medium tomato
1 slice Pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon while split lentil
2 dry red chili
salt to taste
pinch of asafoetida
1 teaspoon refined oil

Recipe instructions:


Remove the skin of the pumpkin and grate it thickly. 
Cut the tomatoes in small pieces.
Now heat a pan, add 1 teaspoon refined oil to it.

Add cumin seeds, when they splutter, add fennel seeds pinch of Asafoetida and white lentils.
Saute for one minute then add dry red chili.
Now add the grated Pumpkin, salt to taste and cook on low flame for two minutes continuously stirring.
Add tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes and turn off the flame.
Let it cool. Grind to a smooth paste in a mixer.
You can serve this chatni with Dosa and Uttapam also.


Onion, garlic karaunda chatni:

Recipe ingredients:


1 medium white onion
1 green chili
3 garlic cloves
1 karaunda
4-5 curry leaves
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon refined oil
salt to taste


Recipe instructions:


Peel the skin of onion and garlic.
Wash the green chili and curry leaves.
Wash, cut and remove the seeds of karaunda.
Chop the onion and green chili roughly.
Heat a pan and add 1 teaspoon refined oil.
Add cumin seeds, when they crackle, add curry leaves, garlic, onion, karaunda and salt to taste.

Cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame and turn off the flame.
Let it cool completely.
Grind all the ingredients to a smooth paste in a Grinder.
This chatni tastes very good with chapati or paratha.

Cucumber, onion kachari chatni

Recipe ingredients:

1 medium Chinese cucumber
1 green chili
2 kachari/ 1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 medium white onion
1 garlic clove
1 tbsp cilantro
salt to taste

Recipe instructions:


Peel the skin of onion and garlic and chop them.
Remove the skin and seeds of kachari and cucumber and chop them.
Now take all the ingredients in a grinder and grind to a smooth paste.
Delicious chatni is ready, serve with chapati or Paratha.
