Craving for healthy and delicious salads ? Here are some interesting, easy , quick , healthy and delicious salad recipes. Salad is an important part of our meal. Salads should be prepared with fresh fruits and vegetables and served immediately. If you like chilled salads, Refrigerate the fruits and vegetables for an hour before cutting them. Don,t cut and refrigerate because they will loose the nutrients present in them. So, here are some innovative, Healthy Salads.

Cucumber tomato salad

Recipe ingredients:
2 cucumber
1 big tomato
1 cup spring onions ( cleaned and chopped )
1 roasted papad
black rock salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon black pepper crushed
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Recipe instructions:
Peel and cut the cucumber in slices.
Wash and cut the tomatoes in big pieces.
Break the roasted papad into small pieces.
Add black rock salt to taste,black pepper  and lemon juice to spring onions and mix well.
Now take a bowl, add the spring onions to it, add tomatoes and sliced cucumber.
Garnish with roasted papad and serve immediately.

Cabbage salad
  
Recipe ingredients: 

2 cups cabbage shredded 
1 cup sprouts1 small white onion
1small tomato
1 small green chili ( optional )
black rock salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
1/2 cup fresh whipped curd
1/4 teaspoon black pepper crushed 

Recipe instructions:
Boil 2 cups water with little salt. Turn off the gas. Add the sprouts to it, leave it for 2 minutes and drain the water and let it cool completely.
Chop the onion, tomato and green chili finely.
Add roasted cumin powder and black pepper to the curd.
Now add the shredded cabbage to a bowl, spread tomato, onion and green chili, then sprouts.
Finally garnish with the whipped curd and serve immediately.

Spinach broken wheat salad


Recipe ingredients:


2 cup fresh spinach, cleaned, washed and chopped
1 tbsp broken wheat 
1 cucumber
1 small tomato
1 teaspoon cottage cheese grated
1 teaspoon lemon juice
black rock salt to taste

Recipe instructions:

Boil the broken wheat for 3-4 minutes on medium flame with a pinch of salt. It should not be over cooked. Just gets soften.
Turn off the gas. Strain the water and let it cool.
Add lemon juice to the spinach and mix well.
Cut the cucumber and tomato in chunks and add black rock salt to it.
Now mix spinach and boiled broken wheat in a bowl.
Add chopped tomatoes and cucumber as shown in the picture.
Garnish with grated cottage cheese and serve immediately.
