Long bean Paratha ( chawla fali ) is my new innovative recipe of Paratha. I have shared many innovative recipes of Paratha and all were liked by you very much. I hope you like this one also.
Paratha made on non-stick with low Ghee/oil is the healthiest Breakfast or Brunch in our country. So, I always try innovative and healthy recipes of Paratha.
Long bean Paratha is also a healthy and yummy recipe.Long beans contains vitamin B1,B2 ,Iron,Phosphor and Fiber. But kids may not like to eat it as a vegetable. So, you can push the nutrition of this vegetable in the form of this Yummy Paratha.You just take care that Long Beans are fresh and tender and if there are some ripe Long Beans, you need to remove the skin and use the beans.

Recipe course -Breakfast

Preparation time - 20 minutes

Servings - 3 to 4

Recipe ingredients:
200 gm Long beans ( chawla fali ) 
1 medium onion
1 teaspoon refined oil
1 green chili
2 tbsp cilantro
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon dry mango powder ( optional)
salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1 cup wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon refined oil
salt to taste
water as per requirement 
Cow ghee/refined oil for shallow fry ( as per requirement )

Recipe instructions:

Wash the Long Beans properly, pat dry with a cloth.
Remove the edges and cut them into pieces. Take out the skin of ripe beans.
Wash and clean the cilantro.
Now grind them to a coarse paste along with cilantro or you can chop them in a chopper also.
Remove the skin of onion and cut it into pieces. Grind the onion along with green chili to a coarse paste.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add the paste of onion and saute for 2 minutes.
Then add the Long beans paste , salt to taste, turmeric powder, cumin powder and red chili powder and mix well.
Cook on low flame continuously stirring till the mixture becomes dry without any moisture. 
Sprinkle some dry Mango powder and mix well.
Let it cool completely.

Meanwhile, sieve the wheat flour, add salt to taste and 1/2 teaspoon refined oil and knead a medium dough.
Make 3 balls of the dough. Roll the ball with the help of a rolling pin. Brush some oil or ghee, put some stuffing on it and cover from all the sides as shown in the picture.
Roll it again with the light hands. 
Heat a non-stick skillet. Place the paratha on the skillet as shown in the picture.
Flip when done from one side. Apply some cow ghee or refined oil and flip again.
Shallow fry it  till golden brown from both the sides on medium flame.
Delicious Long Bean Paratha are ready to serve.
Serve with chutney or Tomato ketchup.
