                           Moong Bajra dosa

recipes

Moong Bajra dosa is my latest innovative Breakfast recipe. It is full of nutrition with minimum oil.
I have mentioned about pearl millet benefits in my previous recipe. In Moong Bajra dosa, I have also used Moong beans ( whole green gram ) which has made this recipe more healthy. Moong beans are packed with healthy nutrients and are high in antioxidants. They are rich in Potassium , Magnesium and Fiber and low in carbs.
Moong Bajra dosa is not only healthy but very delicious in taste, so you can push more nutrition into your kids tummy by serving this recipe.
Use non-stick pan to prepare this recipe, only few drops of oil are required on non-stick. So, let us start the recipe.

Recipe cuisine - Indian

Recipe course -Breakfast

Preparation time - 15 minutes

Servings -4 to 5

Recipe ingredients:

1 cup Moong ( whole green gram)
3 tbsp Bajra flour ( pearl millet )
1 medium green chili
1/2 inch ginger
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
salt to taste
refined oil for shallow fry ( as per requirement )

Recipe instructions:

Wash and soak the whole green gram in water for overnight.
If you live in very cold region, soak them in hot water.
In the morning strain the water and make a smooth paste in a grinder using one table spoon water.
Make paste of green chili and ginger.
Add 3 tbsp pearl millet, chili ginger paste, turmeric powder and salt to taste and mix well so that no lumps are left in it.
Do not use water, we need thick consistency for crispy dosa.
Rest for 10 minutes.
