Instant Garlic cluster beans is a very simple quick yet delicious recipe. It is an Instant pot recipe, so very useful for working women.
If you clean and cut the cluster bean in advance, it will hardly take 10 minutes to prepare it. Nowadays, due to Lock down, we have limited options of cooking. This is a common recipe with variation in taste and can be prepared with ingredients available in every home.
Generally cluster beans are first boiled and then fried, in this process, we loose the nutrients of the vegetable. But this is a boil free recipe prepared in pressure cooker, so that nutrients present in it are preserved and because of this reason, it gives a good taste. So, let us start the recipe.

Recipe Ingredients:
250 gm raw cluster beans
3 garlic cloves
1 tbsp mustard oil
1/2 tea spoon red chili powder
1/4 tea spoon turmeric powder
1/2 tea spoon coriander cumin powder
salt to taste
1 tea spoon lemon juice
1/2 tea spoon cumin seeds
pinch of asafoetida
Recipe instructions:
Wash the cluster beans 3-4 times and cut them into small pieces. This recipe will taste good if the cluster beans are chopped finely.
Peel the skin of garlic and crush them in a mortar.
Heat 1 tbsp mustard oil in a pressure cooker.
Add cumin seeds, when they crackle and turn black, add pinch of asafoetia and crushed garlic and saute for a minute.
Now add chopped cluster beans, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt to taste and saute for 3-4 minutes.
Cover the lid of pressure cooker and cook for 1 whistle or 10 minutes on low flame.
Turn off the gas and rest for 10 minutes.
Open the lid, add lemon juice and mix well.
Serve with chapati or paratha.
