Methi Bajra Appe
Methi Bajra Appe is a delicious and healthy breakfast recipe.
We all know the benefits of Methi and Bajra.
I have shared so many recipes of these earlier.
So let us start.
1 Cup Bajra ( pearl millet ) flour
1 Cup Fenugreek leaves
1 Cup Butter milk
Salt to taste
1 green chili chopped
1 teaspoon refined oil
1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
Pinch of asafoetida
1/2 sachet Eno
Recipe instructions :
Combine Bajra flour, finely chopped Fenugreek leaves, Butter milk and salt to taste and mix well.
Rest for 15 minutes.
Heat 1 teaspoon refined oil in a tadka pan.
Add sesame seeds, when they splitter turn off the flame.
Add pinch of asafoetida and chopped green chili and add it to the batter.
Mix well, add 1/2 sachet Eno powder, some water to activate Eno and stir gently in one direction.
Grease the Appe pan and heat it on low flame.
Now add the batter to the Appe pan.
Cover the lid and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, flip the Appe and cook without lid till golden brown in colour.
Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
